Olamide drops 5th music video of 2016

Olamide has never failed to impress the street with his music videos.

And this time, he’s teamed up with Clarence Peters for ‘Owo Blow’, which is the rapper’s fifth music video this year.

Olamide collaborated with Unlimited L.A for the visuals of ‘Konkobility’ and ‘I Love Lagos’.

He also worked with Adasa Cookey on ‘Abule Sowo’, while Sesan Ogunro directed ‘Who U Epp’ featuring Wande Coal and Phyno.

Davido drops ‘Gbagbe Oshi’ video

After unveiling the official cover art for Son of Mercy some days ago and releasing his first song in almost a year, Davido has quickly followed up by dropping the video for the new single, ‘Gbagbe Oshi’.

Shatta Wale calls for peace at Tamale NDC campaign launch

Controversial Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, is calling on the citizenry to embrace peace ahead of the December 7 polls.

“We are brothers and sisters let us embrace peace. Shatta Movement is for peace. Let us show we love Ghana more than everything”, he said.

The self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta who was the guest artist at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tamale Central Constituency Campaign Launch on Saturday October 1, 2016, urged Ghanaians to work towards maintaining the current peace.

The musician whose “Mahama Paper” has been adopted as the official campaign song of the NDC, for the first time, performed on a political stage to launch the reelection bid of the Minister for Roads and Highways Alhaji Innusah Fuseini.

Late last week, the award winning dancehall artist described the use of his ‘Mahama Paper’ song as the official campaign song for NDC as one of God’s many miracles.

According to him, he couldn’t have had a better person endorsing his song than the President of Ghana which is a big boost to his musical career.

“I’ve not sold the song, as for me Shatta, I’m doing my job…for instance if the NPP calls on me to perform at their function I will do that, if the NDC also calls on me, I’ll do same but I will not do that to endorse any political party, or ask my fans to vote for this party or that one because the votes lie with the people, they will decide.”

He added: “The use of my song as the official campaign song of the NDC is one of the miracles of God. If I’ve played a song and the President who is ruling Ghana is using it for his campaign then I don’t have a problem with that. In the same way the NPP can also get a song that they will use to do their campaign. This should tell everyone that my fans are not only on the street or the radio presenters but I have fans when it comes to the political industry. So if Mahama is using it for his campaign…the reward comes from God, so we leave everything to God.”

MTV MAMAs 2016: MzVee, E.L, Diamond Platnumz, others grab nominations

The final list of nominees for the 2016 MTV MAMAs scheduled to hold in Johannesburg on October 20, 2016 has been released.

Among the tall list of nominees are musicians from across the continent but with Nigeria and South Africa dominating.

Ghanaian musicians E.L and MzVee were the latest addition to R2Bees and Stonebwoy who had already secured nominations. E.L grabbed a nomination for Listeners Choice Awards whereas MzVee was nominated for Best Female Artist of the Year.

Collaborating with Trey Songz is a dream come true – Stonebwoy

Award winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has stated meeting and sharing the same stage with American music star Trey Songz at this year’s Coke Studio Africa Season 4 is a dream come true.

Explaining how privileged he feels with such big opportunity in an interview with Sammy Flex on Pluzz Fm, the ‘Baafira’ hitmaker added, “It’s the dream of other artistes to get to such platform and this has come to reality for me."

“For me as an artiste, this is an enviable position right now for me. I do give thank God…”

Tremaine Aldon Neverson better known as Trey Songz or "Trigga Trey", is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor from Virginia. He is popular for his song ‘Na Na’, Slow Motion and others.

For the final episode of Coke Studio Africa 4, Trey Songz will record a song and stage live music performances with Nyashinski (Kenya), Vanessa MDEE (Tanzania), Rema Namakula (Uganda), Neyma (Mozambique), Serge Beynaud (DRC), Lij Michael (Ethiopia), Patoranking (Nigeria) and Stonebwoy (Ghana).

Coke Studio Africa is a non-competitive show seeking to bring together and showcase the diversity of African musical talent. Season 4 include artistes from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Togo, Ghana, Cameroon and Ivory Coast.

Sarkodie drops ‘Sarkoholics’

Rapper Sarkodie believes he is the best thing to happen to the Ghanaian music industry, and everyone hates him because of that.

It’s okay to have fears as artiste – especially as someone at the top of his game – J. Cole’s ‘Jermaine Interlude‘ song is a perfect example of that.

It’s safe to say Sarkodie is in a space where he is not as secured in himself as he wants the world to believe. Songs released by him in the past few years literally scream ‘I’m delusional and insecure.’

His new song Sarkoholics, which is supposed to be a shout out to his loyal fan base isn’t any different. The Kaz-produced song turns out to be another bragging spree – he does mention the names of some fans though.

The “Wengeze” hit maker , Eazzy says that her confidence of not giving birth out of wedlock is high because she uses protection after intercourse.

“I’ve had unprotected sex but then there is Postinor-2”.

She said this in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s “Ekwanso dwoo dwoo”.

Eazzy also revealed that she is not one of those girls who think abortion is the only way out when unplanned pregnancy sets in.

“Of course, there is no other option. Absolutely! I am not a supporter of abortion”, adding she is always protected so she doesn’t even think of unplanned pregnancy.

Commenting on other issues, the “Ginger” Singer said she is not really a quick-tempered person but “I hate it when people disappoint me and I hate it when people don’t do what they are supposed to do. You know your job and yet you want me to talk before you do it, I hate that”.

About how she deals with disappointments from men, Eazzy said she would try and forgive him a couple of times but if she can’t take it any more, she would have to let go.

Eazzy also spoke about her new banging single title “Forever” featuring sensational Singer Mr. Eazi and preparation for the video.

Prophet Kumchacha shows off his Chevrolet Camaro

Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries Nicholas Osei popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha has been spotted in a new luxurious car somewhere in the nation’s capital.

The prophet was one of the many public figures who were at the 37-lorry park for a Total program held to educate drivers at the station on their products. The man of God attending the show was cruising in an unregistered Chevrolet Camaro car.

Zionfelix.net took pictures of the car just for you to know one of the cars the man of God uses and how God has changed his life.

He has said on several occasions that he is illiterate, but he does not mean he will be poor because knowledge is not only in books.

A brand new Chevrolet Camaro according to checks is estimated to be around $25,700 (Gh104, 050).

The man of God joins Shatta Wale and few other Ghanaians who drive the fitter, faster, finest and ferocious sixth-generation car.

LEADS International Goes On A Float To Create Awareness For Road Safety

Today August 2,2016 marks a historical day in the books of Leads International School located in Ashaiman Asensubar with it's annex at Ashaiman Lebanon and another branch in Mepe and Mafi Kumasi in the Volta region of Ghana.

The management,staff and the entire student body of the school deem it necessary to embark on a float in the Ashaiman municipality to educate road user on the awareness of road safety due to the alarming  disregard  of road safety regulations on our road especially with the growing number of commercial motorcycle riders who ply their trade without the use of helmet and the reckless driving on our roads by both commercial and private car drivers.
The float took the school through some principal street of Ashaiman, lorry stations, taxi rank, motorcycle rank, Ashaiman market (valco flat), where the students gave out fliers about road safety tips to the general public.

Scratch  as popularly know of chocho hall of fame record label,born George Coleman , a rapper and a graduate from Ho polytechnic with first class honors in HND mechanical engineering is the new face in the modelling fraternity in Ghana.

He was discovered by the cameras of one of the finest imagry expert in ghana (Percymarie imagry) while taking photo shoots for the models of ho polytechnic during the  Polytechnic's 2015 SRC week celebration.

BET Award nominee MzVee has finally dropped what seem like a reply to Kaakie’s Sankwas song, Make I Shine produced by Richie which features BBnZ’s E.L.

According to YFM’s NYDJ the song was recorded right after the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and seems to easily reply Kaakie who recently released a diss track Sankwas directed at MzVee.

I am the best singer in Ghana – Nana Quame

Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Nana Quame, has said that he is the best singer in Ghana. He made this bold statement when he was interviewed on Radio GIJ’s ‘Weekend Train’.

Aside from making several other revelations, the numerous award-winning artiste, said he is the best singer in Ghana. He said he had had the opportunity to be in the studio with many singers and so far so good, he hasn’t met any Ghanaian musician that can top his talent.

The Male Vocalist of the Year 2003 said, “no one in Ghana sings better than I do. I have been to the studios with them. I know what they can do. I know their strengths and I know their weakness. Who? They should come out.”

Born Henry De-Mensah in 1978, Nana Quame denied ever challenging Ofori Amponsah on stage. He said all he did was to answer a question.

He was asked who the best was between he and Ofori Amponsah. And all he said was, “put the two of us on stage and judge. Simple.”

The ‘Asew Konofo’ hit-maker has a new one out. This he calls ‘Medo’.

It’s not wrong for a comedian to repeat jokes - Foster Romanus

Ghanaian comedian, Foster Amponsah, known on stag as Foster Romanus says it’s not wrong for a comedian to repeat a joke.

Speaking exclusive in an interview with Blagogee.com, the fact that comedy hasn’t gained grounds does not mean you take comedians for granted because the career of a comedian is the most difficult as compared to any other art form.

According to him, a musician will sing one song on several platforms any other day.

He said, I read a review at the just ended Dkb’s Point of view and I saw one thing in Francis Doku’s review, which he was particular about, repeated jokes.

“…Even though its not wrong for a comedian to repeat a joke if a comedian repeats a joke it's assumed that he or she lacks content or he or she is not up to the task, he asserted.”

He continued that "it’s always difficult to come up with content and stay evergreen so there should be value on what we do and what we do as comedians is unique".

He gave instances saying comedy is not like music were fans sing songs of their artistes.

“You have to talk, you’ve to engage, you don’t even know who is in the audience who is broken hearted, bereaved etc you have to make them laugh and that is the toughest decision or career as a comedian.

Foster in a fruitful visual recording enjoyed his interview and he is billed for the 3rd time to perform at the 1022 Laughs and Music slated on 6th August, 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The night will have Ghanaian (Foster Romanus, OB, Lekzy Decomic) and Nigerian (Acapella, I Go Dye, Destalker, Kenney Black) come together on one big stage to thrill and rib crack their fans.

Fans attack Gifty Osei over her Instagram video

Gospel musician Gifty Osei aka Empress 1 has incurred the wrath of her fans over a video she posted on Instagram.

In the said video which is 33 seconds long, the gospel musician is seen in an elaborate make up and advising people to believe in God because he is always there for them.

Her fans were obviously surprised and angry that a woman of God could put on that much make up and still talk about God, something they think is too much.
